Press: Chrysler “hopeful” about prospects for loans
Speaking at the Geneva auto show, Chrysler vice-chairman Jim Press said the company was “hopeful” that it met all the criteria established for additional governments loans.
Press also said there were no meetings planned at the show with Fiat CEO Sergio Marchionne. An alliance with Fiat SpA is one of the strategies included in the Chrysler proposal. Press noted that Fiat executives were satisfied with the viability plan Chrysler filed on February 17.
