Chrysler to kick off new ad campaign

Chrysler will launch an advertising and marketing program with new ads appearing as soon as today and new incentives to be announced tomorrow.

According to Steve Landry, Chrysler’s sales and marketing chief, the campaign is designed to reassure consumers that Chrysler isn’t going away and expects to come back from its bankruptcy filing stronger than before.

“We want to establish a level of trust and confidence that customers can still buy cars and trucks from us and it’s business as usual,” Landry said. He added the company is “working to exit bankruptcy as fast as we can.”

Chrysler CEO Bob Nardelli wrote an open letter to consumers to let them know they could purchase Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles with confidence and to reassure current Chrysler vehicle owners that there would be no problems with obtaining warranty service.
