Changes to Chrysler manufacturing, styling

Frank Ewasyshyn, Executive Vice President—Manufacturing announced several changes:

  • Byron Green was appointed Head of Manufacturing Engineering, responsible for all assembly product and process activities associated with current and future platforms.
  • Fred Goedtel Jr. was appointed Head of Assembly Operations, responsible for all assembly plants.
  • Warren Miller continues as Head of Stamping Operations.
  • Brian Harlow was named Head of Powertrain Operations, including Powertrain Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Santiago Pages was appointed Head of Mexico Operations, responsible for all Mexican manufacturing plants.
  • Mike Tonietto was appointed Head of Manufacturing Vehicle Platforms,  responsible for the manufacturing development of vehicle platforms in conjunction with Manufacturing Engineering and Vehicle Engineering.
  • Jason Ryska was named Head of World Class Manufacturing, in charge of implementing this system throughout Chrysler manufacturing.
  • May-Leng Yau Patterson was appointed Head of Manufacturing Planning and Control,  responsible for supply chain management.
  • Joe Chao has announced his intention to leave the company to pursue other opportunities.

In addition, Chrysler Group announced the following styling appointments. All of the following report to Ralph Gilles:

  • Joseph Dehner was appointed Head of Dodge Design.
  • Brandon Faurote was appointed Head of Chrysler Design.
  • Mark Allen was appointed Head of Jeep® Design.
  • Timothy Anness continues as Head of Advance Design, responsible for all interior and exterior advance packaging design activities for all Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.
  • Klaus Busse continues as Head of Interior Design and Component Commonization, responsible for all interior design activities for Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles.
  • Brandt Rosenbusch continues as Car Curator to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum and Historical Collection Coordiator.

The changes are effective immediately, as are the engineering changes announced earlier today.
