Chrysler restarts nine plants Monday as board meets

Chrysler will resume production at nine of its eleven remaining assembly plants tomorrow, endingt he two-week summer break. Only Sterling Heights and Conner Avenue will remain idle. Sterling Heights builds the slow-selling Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger and Conner Avenue crafts the Dodge Viper.
Chrysler’s board of directors will begin three days of meetings tomorrow. Board members will discuss product planning, marketing and the company’s roadmap to profitability.
