Kuwait national police to get Dodge Chargers

The government of Kuwait has made the Dodge Charger its national police vehicle. A Kuwaiti delegation visited Chrysler headquarters in Auburn Hills to approve the purchase of 150 Chargers. The selection came as no surprise: the Charger is Chrysler’s best-selling vehicle in the Middle East.
Musaed S. Al-Guwainem, Kuwaiti Deputy Minister of the Interior, said, “Reflecting an image of strength and power is important for our law enforcement officials and the Dodge Charger portrays that image to the Kuwaiti people.”
“Chrysler is proud to have worked with Kuwait’s Ministry of Interior in the sale of these Dodge Charger police vehicles,” said Trent Barcroft, Managing Director of Chrysler’s Middle East Regional Office.
