2010 Dodge Caliber launched; 31 mpg
The 2010 Dodge Caliber has been unveiled, with higher gas mileage (31 mpg city), tip start added to all CVTs, a new optic green metallic color replacing surf blue, and a new set of wheel options to match the redesigned interior.
Power mirrors are now heated; remote start is available in the security group; a sport appearance package for SXT is now available, including 18 inch wheels, performance steering and suspension, fog lamps, blackout tape, and color-keyed seat and instrument panel accents.
The much-maligned interior of the original Caliber has been upgraded substantially, with a new instrument panel, floor console with soft armrest and secondary armrest storage bin, new door trim panels with soft armrests, cut and sew shift boot (manual transmissions), new LED cluster with chrome rings on SXT and R/T, new cloth, active head restraints, and standard floor mats on all models.
The R/T will get a leather-wrapped parking brake handle and six-way power driver’s seat, standard. Automatic temperature control will be optional on R/T models late in the model year.
82% of Calibers sold recently have been the SXT 24D package. Very few Calibers are on dealer lots at this time.
While the 2010 Dodge Caliber can be ordered now, production has not yet begun.
