Chrysler Dealer Council to resume elections
The last elections for the Chrysler Dealer Council took place in early 2004, for one-year terms; elections then stopped under DaimlerChrysler. Automotive News quoted Chrysler’s Kathy Graham as saying that the move was a sign of going back to “business as usual.” However, participants must own dealers which sell all three brands – Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep.

Arrigo Dodge’s owner, co-chair of the council, was quoted by Automotive News’ Bradford Wernie as saying that even in the past year, the council had been a strong force in gaining dealer cash and had pushed hard for the dealers.
