Chrysler dropping BBDO?

Advertising Age’s Jean Halliday reported that BBDO will lose its large Chrysler contract at the end of January. The contract includes not just advertising and marketing, but also call centers, dealer displays, database management, and training for dealers. Chrysler did not respond to inquiries, saying it would not comment until its new strategic plan is unveiled on November 4.

BBDO’s owner, Omnicom, runs campaigns for Mercedes, BMW, Volkswagen, and Nissan.
