Challenger tops Consumer Reports satisfaction survey
Consumer Reports is seldom kind to Chrysler products but apparently its readers disagree, at least in the case of the Dodge Challenger. It was named the top-ranking vehicle based on owner satisfaction with 92% of owners saying they would buy the same vehicle again. The Ford Fusion hybrid, came in second this year with a 91% rating. The Toyota Prius, which has been at the top of the list, garnered an 88% response, behind the Porsche 911 Carerra S and Chevrolet Corvette and tied with the Acura TL AWD.
The Challenger was the only Chrysler vehicle to make it into the “Most Satisfying” category.
Of the bottom ten, three were Chrysler vehicles, seven were from General Motors. The four-cylinder Chrysler Sebring received the lowest rating; just 37% of owners saying they would buy another Sebring. The Dodge Nitro was just above the Sebring with 38% potential repeat buyers and the Dodge Caliber received a 45% rating.
