Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep news from Allpar

2011 minivans said to have extensive changes

A source at Chrysler wrote that the first S2 pilots of the 2011 Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Caravan have been produced, featuring restyled hoods, front and rear fascias, grilles, tail-lights, moldings, roof-racks, badging, and interiors. The Dodge will now get the Chrysler headlights, and the Town & Country’s wheels have been upgraded; the ram’s-head logo is reportedly gone from the hood of the Dodge.

Other sources wrote that all 2011 minivans would have the Pentastar V6 and six-speed automatic, a configuration more consistent with those of Toyota and Honda, which do not have the proliferation of engines and transmissions that has been with Chrysler for decades.
