Challenger finishes fourth in first NASCAR outing
The NASCAR Dodge Challenger turned in a good run during its debut at the Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona last weekend. After taking the pole position, driver Brad Keselowski piloted the No. 22 Peske Racing Discount Tire Challenger to a fourth-place finish behind Dale Earnhardt Jr., Joey Logano and Ricky Stenhouse, Jr. It was Keselowski’s 16th consecutive top-ten finish in the Nationwide Series and it extended his points lead to 277, the largest lead this season. Parker Kligerman in the No. 26 Discount Tire Challenger, finished 13th, his best finish so far this year. Justin Allgaier, who is third in the Nationwide standings, drove the No. 12 Verizon Wireless Challenger, finishing in 17th place following a problem with the rear bumper cover.
