NASCAR Dodge recap: Busch, Allgaier & Keselowski have top-ten finishes

Kurt Busch drove the No. 2 Miller Lite/Vortex Dodge Charger to a tenth-place finish at the Brickyard 400, run at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in Indianapolis. Busch remains fifth in the standings in the Race for the Sprint Cup Challenge.

Brad Keselowski in the No. 12 Penske Dodge finished 19th. Busch and Keselowski were the only Dodge drivers to complete the entire 160 laps.

Sam Hornish Jr. drove 157 laps in the No. 77 Mobil 1 Dodge.

Next Sprint Cup race is the Sunoco Red Cross Pennsylvania 500 at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania.

In the Nationwide Series, Justin Allgaier, at the wheel of the No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge, finished seventh in the Kroger 200, benefiting Riley Hospital for Children. The race took place Saturday, July 24 at O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. Brad Keselowski’s No. 22 Discount Tire Dodge was right behind Allgaier, coming in eighth. Keselowski retained his lead over second-place Carl Edwards in the Nationwide Standings. Michael McDowell was 20th across the line in the No. 81 K-Love Dodge. Brian Keselowski’s No. 26 K-Love Motorsports Dodge had to drop out after 126 laps because of an overheating problem and snakebit Dennis Setzer in the No. 92 K-Automotive Dodge only made it seven laps before brakes forced him out.
