Chrysler ends most money-back guarantees
Chrysler today said it would discontinue the money-back guarantee pledge on Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep brands.
The pledge, in place since July, guaranteed customers could receive their money back after 60 days if they were not happy with the vehicle they purchased. Buyers could select either the pledge or low rate financing and a company spokesman said consumers chose the financing by a wide margin.
Only the Ram brand continues to offer the choice of the “Ram Handshake” pledge that allows them to drive their trucks for two months without payments, or accept financing with rates as low as zero percent for 60 months on some models.
