Pentastar V6 progress

While Saltillo is apparently still having problems producing enough blocks to meet demand (a few months ago we heard they were on more shifts than the assembly plant to make up for productivity issues), Chrysler is reportedly already moving on creating the planned Pentastar variants; the planned 3.0 and 3.3 liter versions are apparently in progress, with the CNC machines now able to make crankshafts for all three. There has still been no word on direct injection and turbocharging, though both are planned for the smooth, high-tech six that is supposed to replace the current 2.7, 3.3, 3.5, 3.7, 3.8, and 4.0 sixes.
