Groundbreaking for new Sterling Heights paint shop set for June 21

On Tuesday, June 21, Chrysler will celebrate the groundbreaking for the new paint shop at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant. Chrysler announced it would invest $850 million in the new facility last October.

Fred Goedtel, Vice President and Head of Assembly Operations, Chrysler Group LLC, and Sterling Heights Mayor Richard Notte will join UAW representatives and invited guests in the ceremonial construction kickoff that is scheduled to begin at 11:15 AM, Eastern Time.
