High orders for 8HP cause order delay

oh2o wrote that high demand on initial orders for cars with the new 8-speed transmission has led Chrysler to temporarily turn off the order banks for the 2012 Dodge Charger and 2012 Chrysler 300 V6 models that feature the ZF 8HP. Ordering is expected to re-open in about a month.

Currently, these transmissions are purchased from ZF, but Chrysler is tooling up to make them in Indiana.
