Laura Soave leaves Fiat N.A.

Laura Soave left her position as head of Fiat in North America, according to the Detroit News, which claims to have confirmation. Many observers believed she would be leaving Chrysler when she did not introduce the new Fiat 500 Abarth at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Critics have noted that the pace of dealership openings was less than projected. Sales have also been well below projections, though still respectable, with an average of 28 sales per dealer for October, and 40 sales per dealer for September.
