Chrysler November fleet percentage lowest of Detroit 3
While Chrysler retail sales rose 50.7 percent in November, its percentage of fleet sales dropped to 22.0 percent, the lowest ratio of fleet to retail sales of the Detroit Three. For the first eleven months of the year, Ford has the highest percentage of fleet sales with 32.2 percent of the Dearborn total going to fleets. Chrysler is next, with 28.4 percent fleet sales, and GM has the lowest percentage at 26.2 percent.
Chrysler has made great progress in growing its more profitable retail sales. For the first eleven months of this year, Chrysler has sold over 26,000 more cars and trucks at retail than it did in the same period of 2010.
