Chrysler CNG trucks coming?
Fleets and Fuels magazine reported that Chrysler has moved forward in developing compressed natural gas (CNG) cars, after dropping the technology under Daimler. CNG fueling depots are being set up at three different proving grounds (two in Michigan, one in Arizona) for testing.
Fleets and Fuels wrote that Bob Lee said any new Chrysler natural gas vehicle would be developed by Chrysler, and not be Fiat-based. An announcement is due this quarter.
Chrysler, like GM and Ford, has made CNG vehicles before.
