The Albury Wodonga Chrysler Car Club’s 20th Annual “Chryslers on the Murray” show is this weekend. It is the biggest Mopar show in Australia and has held the title of the largest Chrysler show in the Southern Hemisphere.
The show is named for the Murray River, the longest in Australia. The Murray runs between the towns of Albury and Wodonga, located about midway between Sydney and Melbourne.
The show runs both Saturday and Sunday and there’s a full schedule of activities planned for both days. This year’s show celebrates the 50th anniversary of the introduction of the Valiant to Australia in 1962. The club has received 481 advance registrations for the car show. Around 700 Mopars are expected.
