Though he’s best known as the top ventriloquist in the business, Jeff Dunham has been a muscle car fan since he first discovered Hot Wheels as a youngster growing up in Dallas, Texas. He’s still a Mopar fan with a passion for the 1970 Cuda.
In August, Chrysler’s SRT Division recruited Dunham to help create a show car for the SEMA show that opens in Las Vegas at the end of next week.
Starting with a black 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8, Dunham, Scott Brown, Manager of West Region Communications, Mark Trostle, SRT’s head of design, and Alan Palmer of Palmer’s Customs of Camarillo, California, will produce Project Ultaviolet which will incorporate a new engine from SRT. All in six weeks.
