Goldfish to be inducted into Hall of Fame

The East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame Reunion will be held on October 18-20, 2013, in Hendersonville, North Carolina. This year, the Golden Commandos’ Goldfish, a 1965 Plymouth Barracuda with a 273-CID engine, will be inducted.
The Golden Commandos was a Plymouth-backed team of hard-working racing enthusiasts (and Chrysler employees); after winning 90% of its races, breaking the AHRA F Stock record in its first race, and winning the NHRA National F Stock class in 1965, it was to be crushed. Today, the car is owned by Bruce Lindstrom, who acquired the car in 1999. Lindstrom hopes to make appearances with the restored Goldfish before and after the hall of fame induction.
