The 2013 Dodge Challenger R/T Redline will debut at the Chicago Auto Show this month. It expands on the 2012 V6 Challenger Rallye Redline. The special-edition Challenger has a one-of-a-kind appearance, 375-horsepower Hemi V8, and performance-tuned suspension.
Redline Red and Graphite stripes run from behind the front wheel arches to the rear end, with “Redline” in red on the rear-quarter portion of the stripe. The four available body colors include Billet Silver, Granite Crystal, Bright White, and Pitch Black. Black chrome 20-inch wheels with a Redline Red lip are standard.
Challenger Redline boasts the 375-horsepower 5.7-liter Hemi V8 paired with a Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission. A five-speed automatic transmission is also available with the 372-horsepower 5.7-liter Hemi V8; this version has economy mode and paddle shifters with “sport mode.”
An available Super Track Pak adds Goodyear Eagle F1 P245/45R20 three-season performance tires, lowered ride height, and high-performance brake linings.
Challenger Redline includes all the standard features of the 2013 Challenger R/T, including Uconnect, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, R/T grille and Hemi hood badges, and rear body-color deck-lid spoiler.
The Redline Group is already available for ordering and arrives at dealerships in April. Challenger R/Ts equipped with the package have an MSRP of $31,990; R/T Plus models are $33,990 (both excluding $995 destination charge).
