Chrysler price hikes

As of yesterday, according to oh2o, Chrysler has raised prices on many vehicles, presumably reflecting the company’s own cost increases. Small price adjustments are normal through the year. In this case, most of the price hikes appear to be on upper level models, indicating perhaps increased costs for leather, safety equipment, or other high end gear.

The biggest price hikes were on SRT cars and 200/ Avenger.

SRT: 300 went up $405, Grand Cherokee and Viper went up $465, and Challenger and Charger both rose by $500

200: the base model rose by $600 while Touring and Limited went up $330 and $340, respectively. Convertibles all went up by $250. However, on 200 Touring I-4, buyers can drop down to the four-speed for a $500 credit.

Avenger rose by $700 for SE and $600 for SXT, but Blacktop and Rallye were dropped by $200 to $395, and as with 200, SXT/I-4 buyers can drop down to the four-speed for a $500 credit.

300: 300S rose by $100 and 300C by $150 (with or without Luxury).
