Dodge has released full details on the new 2015 Dodge Charger and 2015 Dodge Challenger .

All Dodge Chargers, and all Challengers with automatic transmissions, will use the ZF eight-speed automatics — with ZF supplying transaxles for the V8s, and Chrysler building them for the V6 models. The move is more significant for Challenger, which until now has been lumbering along with the old five-speed even on V6 models. The eight-speed allows the 2014 V6 Charger to do 0-60 in 6.6 seconds while achieving 31 mpg on the highway.
