Chrysler has re-organized their product development teams to reflect new processes and synergies. Key appointments are:

Deborah Wahl Meyer, Chrysler’s Chief Marketing Officer, is leaving the company today and Phillip F. Murtaugh, who has been handling the company’s Asia operations, will be leaving at the end of the month as part of the latest management realignment. The company says both are leaving to “pursue other interests.”

China is, year-to-date, Chrysler’s highest-volume export nation outside North America, thanks to sales growth of 44%, for a total 13,849 units year-to-date. The Jeep J8, a heavy duty version of the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, is now available in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Latin America. It was engineered for military use, and is also appropriate for commercial, government, and humanitarian applications. Journalists who drove the J8 at Euro Camp Jeep were generally enthusiastic about the vehicle.
