Automotive News wrote that GM is postponing nearly all its product development spending until 2011, to cut costs. This move could delay the upcoming Chevrolet Cruze and other vehicles. The Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) named the new 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 as their choice for the “Full-Size Pickup Truck of Texas.” The Ram beat out full-size pickups from Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Nissan, Honda and Toyota. The optional RamBox won the “Best Feature” category in a landslide.

The 2010 Chevrolet Camaro will carry a higher price tag than the Dodge Challenger or Ford Mustang.
