Fiat and Chrysler CEO Sergio Marchionne received a bonus of about $1,835,000 last year from Fiat SpA, boosting his total compensation to almost $6,525,000 a hefty boost over the $4,622,000 he was paid in 2008. Fiat is combining its Abarth, Alfa Romeo and Maserati brands into a new operating group. Harald Wester, 51, currently CEO of Abarth and Maserati as well as chief technology officer for Fiat S.p.A., has been named the new CEO of the group. Sergio Cravero, formerly CEO of Alfa Romeo, will become head of product planning.
