Chrysler is under investigation by the state of Indiana. A spokesman for Indiana Secretary of State Todd Rokita confirmed the state is looking into possible securities fraud relating to the failed joint venture with Getrag Transmission LLC.

According to Automotive News, Getrag Transmission Manufacturing LLC has declared bankruptcy. Chrysler recently left the joint venture, claiming that Getrag had failed to obtain $300 million in financing without Chrysler loan guarantees. According to Getrag Transmission Manufacturing LLC, Chrysler has canceled the construction of advanced, efficient dual-clutch transmissions by Getrag in Indiana, as of Friday.
