On January 23, 2010, SpeedFactory’s 426 Charger, piloted by Eddie Rosa, completed the quarter mile in 9.453 seconds with a trap speed of 145.38 mph, besting all previous quarter mile times set by actual production LX/LC-platform cars.

Mopar will offer three aluminum versions based on the popular 6.1-liter block, all of which are up to 98 pounds lighter than the cast-iron production version found in the company’s SRT8® products.

Working together, the Westcotts, Charlie Sr. and Charlie Jr., pulled off another victory last night in the Mopar NHRA HEMI Challenge at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis.
