According to figures released by Edmunds.com, Chrysler Group, which posted the largest sales gain of the Detroit automakers in June, spent an average of $2,601 on incentives, less than Ford ($2,859) or General Motors ($2,951). TrueCar.com estimates the average retail transaction price for a Chrysler vehicle was $28,777 in May, up 1.8% from May 2010 and up 0.5% from April 2011.
