    Chrysler inventories remain high

    Chrysler had the fifth largest inventories of any automaker in December 2008, according to an Automotive News listing. Most vehicles were at 100-140 days’ supply.     Inventories, sales per dealer

    Automotive News has published its monthly inventory list, and Chrysler’s inventory has swollen in terms of days sold compared with November.     Return of the sales bank

    With sales falling faster than Chrysler has been able to cut production, the sales bank has apparently been brought back, at least temporarily.
