Dodge was named the most improved brand in the latest J.D. Power Automotive Performance Execution and Layout Study. The survey measures new car owners’ satisfaction with the performance, features and layout of their vehicles. Lexus took its traditional top spot in J.D. Power’s 90-day initial quality study, with Porsche and Cadillac within one problem per hundred of each other in second and third place. Chrysler-brand vehicles scored above average in the J.D. Powers 2009 Vehicle Dependability Study which surveys owners of 3-year-old light vehicles. Influential research firm J.D. Powers has released a study showing that Dodge could regain fifth place among preferred automotive brands as U.S. light vehicle sales improve in 2010.
