Hundreds of workers have been recalled from layoffs to resume work at the Kokomo Transmission Plant and Indiana Transmission Plant 1.

About 400 hourly employees from the Chrysler stamping plant in Twinsburg, Ohio will be given an opportunity to come to the Motor City and fill positions at the Warren and Sterling stamping plants. Chrysler says 150 of the workers could go to Warren with the balance being assigned to Sterling.

In a refreshing change of pace, Chrysler is hanging out the “help wanted” sign again. The company is now accepting applications for Sales and Service DM positions in all the Business Centers.
Word is that the last round of buyouts was a bit too effective and Chrysler now needs to fill some slots.
