General Motors has asked the U.S. government for financial aid to help it complete a merger with Chrysler. According to sources, GM executives have asked the Treasury Department to consider taking a stake in the merged company.

JeepNewsNow reported that an Illinois woman was excited to discover she had purchased (used) Senator Barack Obama’s 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Their story also noted that, when asked, John McCain did not know what kind of car he owned or drove; but it turned out to be a Cadillac CTS.
