The Charlotte Observer reported Sunday that multiple sources have confirmed that Penske Racing has cut Kurt Busch, 33, driver of the No. 22 Shell/Pennzoil Dodge Charger R/T from the team, leaving a slot open for another driver in the 2012 Sprint Cup season.
