A dealer announcement for Chrysler Canada compared the Jeep Grand Cherokee to, among other competitors, the Mercedes ML 350. The two vehicles were jointly developed in the DaimlerChrysler days, with Mercedes reportedly benefitting from Jeep 4×4 technologies. The Sprinter, already faced with unaccustomed competition from the Ford Transit, may soon be faced with two other European competitors.
