The Israeli news website Ynet is reporting that Chrysler is in talks with Automotive Industries Ltd. (AIL), a company based in Upper Nazareth, to market the Storm (Sufa) 3, a vehicle based on the Jeep Wrangler JK platform. Jeep claims that the Jeep J8, a variant of the Wrangler designed for certain military and commercial duties, was the first vehicle to be certified under BRV 2009 VR7 for ballistic protection using hot-formed steel technology to create an external, non-parasitic protective shell.
