Ram claims Motorweek’s Drivers’ Choice Award

The Ram 1500, 2500 and 3500 have been named Best Pickup in Motorweek’s 2010 Drivers’ Choice Awards. This is the second consecutive year the Ram pickup has earned this title.

Edmunds.com recommends Ram 1500 pickup

Automotive information source Edmunds.com has selected the Ram 1500 pickup as one of its top recommended vehicles for 2010. The Ram, already the recipient of numerous accolades, beat the Ford F-Series and GM Silverado and Sierra pickups in the Edmunds selection, which it shares with the Toyota Tundra.

Ram 1500 will get hybrid, but diesel is iffy

Chrysler Group will produce a hybrid version of the Ram 1500 pickup, but it has not been determined whether the light truck will have a diesel engine or not. The automaker had previously said both options would be available in 2010.
