Chrysler YTD international sales down 2.7 percent

In a tough international market, Chrysler LLC sales were down 20.3 percent last month, falling to 18,347 units from the 23,016 sales recorded in September 2007. Chrysler hops onto Russian bandwagon

According to an Automotive News article, quoting a Chrysler executive, Chrysler will partner with “an automaker already in Russia” with an existing assembly plant to build cars for the Russian market. Some analysts have claimed that total auto sales in Russia will match United states sales within a decade.
