The Chrysler Foundation has donated $65,500 and Chrysler employees have given thousands of toys to the Marine Corp Reserve’s annual Toys for Tots campaign. Andreas Renschler told the Associated Press that Daimler AG’s truck empire will not cut hours in its German plants, but could continue slashing Daimler Trucks North America, which includes the remains of Sterling and Freightliner. Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) today announced the company would focus on a two-brand strategy in an effort to cut costs and streamline operations. The two brands are Freightliner and Western Star.
