    Chrysler hopes to buy one plant, sell another

    Chrysler Group received a two-week extension from the city of Sterling Heights to complete a purchase of the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) from Old CarCo.     Twinsburg plant given 3-month reprieve

    According to the union local’s president, the Twinsburg Stamping Plant will remain open for an additional three months after its scheduled March closing.
