Redriderbob, who has made some accurate predictions in the past, wrote that Chrysler will be using Warren Truck Assembly (part of the former Dodge City complex) to assemble Fiat Ducato vans. Bloomberg reported that the Warren truck plant which builds the Dodge Ram and the Toledo plant that makes the Jeep Wrangler have scheduled overtime to meet the demand.

Dow Jones reports that Chrysler is boosting production as the government’s “Cash for Clunkers” program continues to pump demand, reducing the number of vehicles available at dealers.
