2009-07-021994 Jeep Cherokee CountryGracie Adams (Cars Name)200,0264.0L, Straight 6, Automatic, 2WD My drivers side door fell off once and had to be welded back on. Transmission was rebuilt at 60k, new water pumps (hoses) twice at 70k and 197k. Electrical work done at 197k. Tie rods on left side replaced, main light switch burned out and was replaced. Headliner replaced. Pivot arm, and 3 starters or so. 3 or so serpentine belts. 2 T'stats. I've maintained it very well, changed oil every 3k, used 10W40 and changed filter regularly. It's been up to 115 mph, and usually gets right around 18-20 mpg. Doesn't leak any oil, and runs excellent. Door locks and power windows mess up occasionally, but good door slam usually remedies problem. I love this car. I want to completely restore it, drop a new engine and trannie in it, and drive it till I die. My first car, named her Gracie and would buy another in a heart beat.

2009-06-241996 Dodge Grand Caravan ESJohn Kryla224,7633.8 AT FWD Transmission rebuilt at about 190,000 miles. Other work has been mostly regular wear and tear. Had the minivan since new. Love it. Driven in harsh and corrosive Canadian climate, but it has withstood the elements. Still take it on long road trips with confidence. Engine is great. Although it is a Chrylser Canada car, it was made in Fenton, Missouri. Heard that the U.S. 96's were better than those made in Windsor, Canada.

2009-05-301995 Eagle Vision esiDaniel S. McElroy200,0303.3L, V6, automatic left rear strut replaced($300), fuel pump replaced twice once by me then again by a car repair shop, new trunk lid($100)and hood($200)(because of rust), replaced the starter, no major engine repairs, no transmission repairs. runs great but the automatic transmission shifts hard sometimes. was not kept perfectly for a while but for the past two years it has been checked almost everyday:oil, transmission fluid, brake, power steering. but i got in a wreck and by myself replaced the whole front end: bumper, air conditioner cooler, radiator, head lights, hood, and belts. i was very surprised to find out how well build these cars are, but also how cheap they are; my car completely restored is only worth $2000.

At 173,000 miles, (only 23,000 miles after rebuild) the "new" converter went bad again... and was charged an additional $1,000 for labor and parts again... Timing belt and water pump at 120,000 miles for maintanenace. Has been the most reliable vehicle I evered owned. I bought the car with only 18,000 miles on it and currently have approx. 201K on it.

2009-04-211994 Dodge B250 Ram VanKnown, not shown204,4313.9 L V-6 Rear end rebuilt, but no major engine work, no trans work, no fuel injection problems. Has been serviced regularly every 5000 - 6000 KM through its life. Have had the fuel pump replaced twice. ( expensive ). Business vehicle - factory ordered in December 1992, arrived March 6th 1993 and was registered as a 1994 Dodge Van. Just last week replaced the EGR valve and a full tune up. Runs like new.
2009-04-201999 Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoMarcy Clark237,2354.0L automatic transmission 4x4 Both front axles. Other repairs were just maintenance. Going for a million, then time for a new JEEP!
2009-04-201994 Jeep Grand Cherokee LaredoPhil238,4465.2 V8, Quadra-trac 2 starters, 2 fuel pumps, ignition coil, radiator, water pump, radiator fan clutch, coolant hoses, exhaust manifold gaskets(both sides!), front wheel bearing, rear axle(differential was shot), EGR valve, driver's door(hinges shot, the door was cheaper!), rear liftgate(rust), cv boots, catalytic converter(broken honeycomb blocked the exhaust), transmission cooler lines. Runs fine, gets the same mileage it always has, uses no oil to speak of. Key fob remote was a joke, and absurdly expensive! Power locks started locking me out every time I stopped, so I pulled the relay. Weak door hinges welded to the door are inexcusable- get a clue, guys! Local shop said the exhaust gaskets were an 8-hour job, each side; I did it in half that, but it's a huge pita, poor engineering here.

2009-04-191989 Plymouth VoyagerJON CHURCHILL200,8562.5L TURBOCHARGED 4 CYL. 3 SP. AUTO head gasket at 138,000 and again at 195,000,trans replaced Oil pan has never been off. Crosshatch honing pattern still visible in standard bores. Uses about a quart of oil to 2500 miles. One small rust spot on front of right rear wheelhouse, otherwise completely rust free. For years this van was completely loaded, including four passengers and a loaded sixteen foot boat, and driven 70-80 mph from Mn to Fl every fall and spring. That little turbo must have been spooled up the whole way!!

Replaced both CV axles, Alternator, transmission cooler replaced with aftermarket, wheel bearings, starter, other then that I replaced anything that looked like it needed repaired (all parts will need replacing) or replaced it to make me feel better (I'm paranoid when it comes to vehicles. everything must be perfect) Engine is original. Replaced most parts because (I was given to me for free by my Grandfather) my grandfather replaced everything with parts from a junkyard. Other then that, I drive around to work, school, 300mile Sunday drive, and to severe thunderstorms when the season comes. Still does 80 on freeway!

Removed 2 bench seats and used van as a camper and daily driver. Vacationed in Fla. for 9 years. (from NJ - 3K mi. round trip) The only internal engine work was valve stem seals to pass inspection. Original trans as far as I know. Replaced brushes on 100 amp alt. twice, once in Fla. - now I carry spares. The only time it left me on the side of the road was when dist. pickup coil failed. Bought the same year, model, and running gear Xplorer class B camper in '05 and have used the van as a work truck since. Also own a '49 Power Wagon fire truck and an unrestored '67 Polara 500 convertible. I'M A DODGER FOREVER!
