Chrysler new yorker 268437 at 200,000 i replaced the transmission. at 230,000 i replaced the engine, (using excessive oil). in october 1996 the speedometer stoppped working at the said miles above. i have been driving nearly every day since then, (working days) approximately 40 miles run trip. the engine i put in the car came out of a 89 sundance. Chrysler 1979 Lebron 210,000 I had to replace or fix all of these things: torsion bar, alternator, fuel filter, tires, water pump, spark plugs, rotor and distributor cap, and battery. 3.7 6 cyl./ 225 2bbl. Automatic The car has been in 1 accident which significantly damaged the front clip, and bent the hood, but it did not effect anything else. The car is still very solid, it still has shiny metalic brown paint, with little rust. It always starts and the engine runs very smooth, and has no blowby. Nathan Rushing

He said he was the 4th owner, it used to be a public service truck so it had over 100,000 on it before it was auctioned. The 6 is running on 5 cylinders and the carb loads up all the time. Replaced that piston and one other that was cracked, new rings, and drive on! Several other small repairs, and currently in for "rust abatement" at the body shop. 440/727 auto from a 67 Chrysler installed at 60,000 miles (just for the fun) Automatic Strong, reliable, and comfortable. It's a wonderful car! Pulls our 31 foot Airstream with ease. This car has "earned" every one of its 346,000. It's been places some people wouldn't take their trucks.
