It still has plenty of "get up and go" for a car of this age for sure! Hopefully it will keep on truckin' on down the road for quite some time yet to come! |

at 200,000 i replaced the transmission. at 230,000 i replaced the engine, (using excessive oil). in october 1996 the speedometer stoppped working at the said miles above. i have been driving nearly every day since then, (working days) approximately 40 miles run trip. the engine i put in the car came out of a 89 sundance. ( i think). it had 79000 miles on it. |

The car has been in 1 accident which significantly damaged the front clip, and bent the hood, but it did not effect anything else. The car is still very solid, it still has shiny metalic brown paint, with little rust. It always starts and the engine runs very smooth, and has no blowby. |

I replaced the timing chain and gears, and the water pump at about 130,000 just for safety sake. I have outrun several 5.0L Mustangs and alot of 5.4L Ford PU. The only modification I have made so far is the installation of a K&N FIPK kit, and a windage tray when I had the bottom pan off to change the pan gasket. |

Strong, reliable, and comfortable. It's a wonderful car! Pulls our 31 foot Airstream with ease. This car has "earned" every one of its 346,000. It's been places some people wouldn't take their trucks. It has touched its wheels in two other countries (Mexico and Canada) and in both the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. Somebody please call me when Chrysler makes a new car like it. |

I call my car Prince Valiant as it is a Real Prince most of the time. It only runs out of Gas in walking distance to the Gas Station and it only breaks down in the driveway. Now if my boyfriend just wouldn't try to put Diesel Gas in it and drive home, I sure wouldn't have to spend so much time with repairs. He's killed all his cars but not even he could do away with Prince Valiant. |
