Want information on your 1967 or older car? The Chrysler Historical Foundation, at 12501 Chrysler Freeway, CIMS 410-11-21, Highland Park, MI 48288, will supply you with service manuals, build records, owner's manuals, and stock photos - all for a fee ($45 at the time of writing). Be sure to include the CIMS number!
Buying a used car? Get its record from CARFAX, the premier car-checking service. Find out if you're about to buy a lemon, a car with flood damage, etc. Comes with title insurance (as least it does in Feb 2003). Unlimited-service plan available (again, in Feb 2003).
Two sources for consumer advocacy lawyers are the Center for Auto Safety, (202) 328-7700, and the National Association of Consumers Advocates, (617) 723-1239. We have no opinions regarding their effectiveness. We do suggest visiting our pages on resolving disputes before calling a lawyer.

Rec.autos.tech, wiz.mopar, and rec.autos.misc are there, but your best bet for Chrysler related information and help is rec.autos.makers.chrysler (or alt.hi-po.mopars).
It is natural to speak more loudly when you have a complaint or have been wronged. Those who immediately post many messages saying how terrible Chrysler is are generally not appreciated. Be subtle and specific, and try to ask for help first - you may just get it. Also learn to separate bad dealers from Chrysler itself (not that Chrysler Customer Center reps are wonderful, but they're better than many dealers and most zone reps).
