Shock Absorbers
Possibly the easiest suspension-performance boost you can get, new performance shocks are reasonably priced and don't take much time or skill to install.
Though Konis are generally considered to be superior, the KYB shocks are less expensive and, let's face it, a great deal...

Performance Rotors
Cross-Drilled: Perfect for street driving and limited racing. Holes allow gasses from braking a place to go without lifting the pad off the surface of the rotor. Will not crack (despite rumors) under normal street driving or even autocross use.
Slotted: Work like a cheese grater, constantly keeping fresh pad material at the surface of the pad. Prevents glazing of pad and rotor. 6-slots are fine for street driving and racing. They will use up pads a little faster than cross-drilled, but that is what they are designed to do. 12 and 36 slot designs are best left to strictly racing applications. These go through brake pads like crazy!

DynoMax Super Turbo Exhaust Systems
Engines are often called big air pumps; you need to reduce the air restrictions both going in and coming out. Hence, higher-flow exhausts and K&N air filters can act together to increase high-rpm power. Though we could (and did!) sell just mufflers, we would prefer to sell an entire system. Visit the Dynomax web site for more information on their street systems.
The Super Turbo Street Systems include the muffler of choice for EEK! models - they are only a little louder than the stock exhaust, yet they flow better and have what many people say are a better sound than stock systems. The cost is about $100 plus shipping (usually under $20 within the US), the part is 17488, and it fits 84-91 Daytona 2.2 & 2.5, both TBI and turbo, including Shelby, ES, and IROC.

K&N Air Filters
Now these are the truly ubiquitous performance equipment. K&N air filters, good for the lifetime of most any car, are said to increase air flow dramatically over even moderately old paper filters, without sacrificing engine cleanliness. In other words - K&N claims to have documented both higher performance and equal or better cleaning than paper filters. Why don't car companies use them, then? Because they cost more than paper filters and have to be cleaned and oiled ever few years. Though they mainly improve performance at the top end (high rpms), they are environmentally more sound than paper filters, because they last a long, long time, and make the car's intake sound throatier. I even liked them on my 2.5 TBI Sundance!
