2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Alpine and Vapor

For 2013, two new special editions of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 will be released: the Alpine and Vapor. Both have the usual 470 horsepower V8 that automatically shuts off half its cylinders when they aren’t needed — and which powers the Grand Cherokee from 0-60 in under five seconds, with a quarter mile time in the “mid-13s,” and 60-0 braking in a mere 116 feet.

Both Alpine and Vapor have a Black Vapor Chrome finished wheels, with unique gloss black exterior appointments, including the Jeep hood badge, Grand Cherokee door badge, front grille surround and inserts, rear light bar, and step pad. The difference between the two groups is the color — Alpine being bright white, Vapor being “brilliant black.”

The list price MSRP for the Alpine and Vapor special edition packages has been set at $63,415, including destination charges.
