Well done to chrysler
HOW ABOUT THE NEW INCENTIVES OUR FRIENDS FROM TOYOTA ARE USEING TO MOVE THEIR NEW TUNDRA? … So now they beleave it´s not THAT easy to sell a Full Size Truck huh?
HOW ABOUT THE RECALL`S OF TOYOTA IN 2006?
Would you think that the frenetic growth of Toyota in the US and the World was to fast in order to mantain the so adverticed Quality?
Interesting given that they have just begun full production.
The best thing to do for us is Wait and See, and of course keep putting the Hours for our Companies and Families.
Well, I am just guessing here but isn’t gaining market shares in full-size trucks the best thing to do to put US automakers in bankruptcy? After all, if Toyota doesn’t make a huge profits per Tundra, it isn’t as bad as Ford losing F-150 sales. After all, F-150 sales are going down very fast and this is one of their last lucrative segment (along with explorer/expedition, and econolines… apart from those, I don’t see where Ford makes money).
So yeah, if I was a Toyota buisnessman, I would encourage huge incentives on Tundras and Tacomas, to finish Ford once and for all. Selling lots of Tundras at the moment is more important than making lots of money per sale.
As for the sales, well Nissans’ numbers are explained by the new Versa which seems to be a succes in Canada (where people buy smaller cars than in USA.) Good numbers from the Caliber and Warngler. As for the patriot, well I would explain that small number by the fact that I’ve never seen one in a dealership. I’ve talked to a dealer about a month ago and he told me that in his dealership (in Québec), it is very hard to order sebrings, calibers and compass. When they do, they usually sell it very fast, it never stays in the inventory very long. So, once this supply problem fixed, I imagine the number of sales will increase (even if they are already pretty good).
Nissans sales have gone through the roof this year. I am sure the Versa has a lot to do with it, but another reason could be their terribly weak year they had last year. Check out other blogs by me to see the Canadian 2006 sales wrap up.
Patate, i have a very strong point, Toyota-Honda mainly, claiming that they are not the devil and they are just giveing the costumer what it wants, and in the backyard they are looking for ways to Terminate US Local Competitors, Thats the Japanese Old Style coming back, remember the 70’s where everythng made in Japan was the Cheapest, and suddenly they were the King Of Watches (CASIO), a lethal move from them it would be throw incentives all over the US and Finish not just Ford, but ALL the LOCAL AUTOMAKERS.
an Scary Thought for me, any how i might just be getting delutional with all of this gossip and rumors.
Best Regards
Ups I ment YOU HAVE A VERY STRONG POINT
