Is the 2008 Liberty still smaller than the Dodge Nitro? Just looking at the size of the rear quarter windows it appears that way.

Quick Disclosure:
I am not really a “Mopar Guy”, I drive an ’06 Mazda Miata and I found this site after browsing and searching around about the Dodge Hornet concept. I needed to find a picture to show a friend :) Then I came back and noticed your coverage of the 07 NY Auto Show, and decided to take a peek through what you guys had to say. I had this comment:
I disagree with your lukewarm review of the Dodge Demon. I agree it’s not a “gotta-get-it-now” car, but then I don’t feel that way about any car. I feel that way about a type of car, but not a specific model (I try to feel that way anyways, I try to be open to a variety of cars in purchasing). Getting past that little detail, keep the price under $25k (final buying price, not the “what we will sell it for” announcement at the show which never becomes true, not MSRP, but the final buying price after TTL and shipping) and it’s exactly the sort of sports car I would be interested in. You say “The Viper, even watered down, is about as desirable as a sports car can get,” but the Viper is exactly the sports car I would not buy. It has more power than I would ever desire, and it costs well over my $50k to $60k “threshold” (even if I were a billionaire, I couldn’t justify buying a car more than that).
It’s funny, normally I don’t like American “great big grille in front” thing, but it works for this car. I guess it is because the front grille is half below the bumper line. But then, styling is all subjective so that’s just me. If this had been put out about one year ago when I started looking at replacing my old 1992 Nissan 240SX I would have definitely given the Demon my full consideration.
Dear Friends of ALLPAR, im going to make a few comentos on the NY Auto Show how ever i have another questions:
What happened to the Weblog Link at the left of the Site with the newest topics in highlights ?
No more coments about the Mercedes/Chrysler Brakeup?
No coments about the Bid made by Kerkorian?
Now to the Topic of this Weblog:
About the Demon, i dislike the oversize grill, i´ll bet a million dollars they will reduce the size of that by at least 30% if they produce the car, everything else is greate, maybe a Hardtop like the new Sebring would charm the EuroSnob Crowd.
About the Liberty, i have diferent feelings on this one, i like that the 4cyl was dropped, leave them where they have to be (PATRIOT/COMPASS), JEEP has never being a performer (except for the SRT-8 Grand Cherokee) so the 3.7 works just fine, and there is no need for a Happy Revy 3.5 or 4.0, how ever that OLD TRANNIE with just 4 Fw Gears its not out-fashined its Out-Dated, and simple plain OBSOLETE, though i like the improvements on Air Drag and Fuel, to finish my Liberty coment, i DONT LIKE the SIZE OF THE FRONT GRID it makes the headlights look oversized and plain and simple Weird, unlike the Nitro the Rear looks much better than the front (to me).
I regard that the new commercial trucks were not able to find, and we will still have to wait for a production SRT-4 CALIBER.
I Like the “new” Dakota, I Love the new 4.7 engine, how ever it makes me wonder, about the upgrades in the HEMI, now that the POWER ratings are so close.
Best Regards to all
